Chelsea drop major hint they’re set to sign another striker by allowing Bertrand Traore to join Ajax

Chelsea have dropped the biggest hint yet that they expect to sign another striker this summer by allowing highly-rated Bertrand Traore to join Ajax on a season-long loan.


Michy Batshuayi completed a £33.1million move to Stamford Bridge in July but doubts remain over the futures of Loic Remy and Diego Costa.
Traore, 20, was expected to stay in west London this season to stake his claim for a first-team spot.
The youngster scored four goals in 20 appearances last season and is well thought of within the club.

However, Conte’s agreed to let Traore join Ajax on a season-long loan, meaning Chelsea’s available strikeforce is Batshuayi, Costa and Remy.
The decision almost certainly suggests that the Blues will bring in another striker this summer with the club heavily linked to former striker Romelu Lukaku.
