Twitter slams the publishing of a video showing Helen Skelton topless, aged 17

Twitter has rallied to the defence of Helen Skelton after a Sunday newspaper published images of her aged 17 and topless.


The photos were screen grabbed from a video recorded while the BBC Rio 2016 host was on holiday
‘Helen was on holiday in France. She was enjoying her holiday and relaxing in the sun,’ a pal reportedly told the Daily Star on Sunday.

‘She had no idea she was being filmed, so this leak will be quite a shock for her. This is a complete nightmare for Helen. She is really keen to be taken seriously as a presenter.’
Twitter did not respond kindly to these photos being published online.

The publication of the video and photos comes as Helen has suffered a sexist backlash from viewers who can’t seem to handle her showing her legs on live TV in one of the world’s hottest countries.
